k. press "B" to activate the brush tool. then press "D" to reset your foreground & background colors. make sure you have your layer mask selected & "brush" away the areas of the rainbow you don't want to be seen.

thats what i mean. i dont know how to brush it out.. it doesnt go away

i'm sorry, i don't seem to get your question. what do you mean by delete? all you do is brush out there parts of the rainbow you don't want showing up.
