Well, the picture that I had used that wasn't working is in jpeg format, so I don't know what the problem is. Oh well! I've moved onto working with another picture now hahah.
and oh! after playing around for it a bit I realized I needed to hit CTRL+d after i do the first one before trying to move on and recolourize another part!
thanks so much!! you are such a huge help and i appreciate it a great deal!
Oh, cool.
I'm surprised I haven;t heard of it before, haha.
I'll be sure to check it out, though probably when my internet's fixed.
(It's going slower than dial-up at the moment, and it's supposed to be 'high speed.' It may be high speed to a snail, but that's about it. x])
Hahaha.
One day... =]
Yeah. photography is awesome.
What's a flickr? Lol.
yes, i eat people. did you think i was lying?
...
Aww, thanks for the comment.
xD
After making like, 10 failure icons for the first time, i just gave up and made a banner.
So happy it got accepted.(:
Uh oh! I have another question (sorry). when you go back to repeat the process to finish colouring in the rest of the picture, how do you get it so the hue and saturation doesn't effect what you previously did, either?
sorrryy :[[
Yes'm! Let's see, I just now did it again and I'll take you step by step about what I do and maybe you can figure out what it is:
1) I open Adobe Photoshop cs3 extended
2) i open the picture i'd like to use.
3) I switch into quick mask mode
4) I colour which part I want with the brush
5) I change out of quick mask mode
6) there's the dotted outlines and such. I go to select>inverse
7) I then go to Image>adjustment>
then hue and saturation is dim and non-selectable :(
i just tried another picture and, oddly enough, it worked PERFECTLY fine. i guess it's just that one particular picture i tried using? if it's saved in a particular format would that prevent it from working?
Haha. Yeah, you're famous. At least I think so.
If your name is natalai (sorry if I spelt it wrong. :p) why is your username "manny"? Haha.
Haha. Me? Not amatuer? I've only been on here for two days! LOL
Hello there thanks for commenting my Emma Watson blend, it was much appreciated ^^
haha. I'm honored that the famous Manny commented my amatuer avatars. :3
Thanks for the graphic comments. =]
Haha, I'm glad you like the Old House one.
I had lots of fun playing with the colors and contrast. Haha.
And yeah, I LOVE photography.
I'm planning on going to college for it, as a commercial photographer. =]
Glad you liked my photos! =]
Oh my gosh, thanks for the comment =]
I love your tutorials, btw.
mhm! i even went back and forth between it, and once even went over to the sidebar and chose it from there instead of just using the button on the keyboard as a shortcut (i had tried several times). i apologize for the problem! i love all of the tutorials you have set up and found them helpful, and have never had a problem with any of the others at all. so im not quite sure whats wrong here. i could be making a careless mistake and not realize it! :[
i can't seem to select the layer x: . I tried to do it for like more than 20 times but i still can`t seem to do it T_T. oh anyways. sorry for the late reply x: hope you can help me =D
Well, though some people think Photoshopping an image is a bad thing, i tend to think it's not. often, images will be visually bland without manipulation. you should consider looking into it.
